This is an impressionist style painting of my friend's horse. The horse is named "Jan's Pride" and I have chosen to use that as the title of this piece. I love the way the colors reflect from his shiny coat and I decided to exaggerate the colored reflections just a bit to let you know how I feel when I see this horse standing in the pasture.
