Katharine Wibell

Epic fantasy author Katharine E. Wibell's lifelong interest in mythology encompasses epic poetry like the Odyssey, Ramayana, Beowulf, and Nibelungenlied. She is also passionate about animals having trained dogs, apprenticed at a children's zoo, and served as a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Wibell holds degrees in art and psychology, with a focus on animal behavior, from Mercer University. Her literary works seamlessly blend her knowledge of the animal world with the world of high fantasy.

Katharine has published eight full-length novels and sixteen novellas, with new titles added every year. The Incarn Saga is a fast-paced New Adult shifter fantasy, while The Djed Chronicles is a Young Adult portal fantasy. The Guardian's Speaker, an adult Viking dark fantasy, retells Nordic myths spanning Yggdrasil's nine realms. Numerous accolades include two Children's Moonbeam Book Awards, a first in the Epic eBook Awards, NIEA finalist, and several Best-Selling Amazon ribbons. She promotes her books across various platforms, hosts weekly live author chats on TikTok, and has moderated the BookTok panel at DragonCon. Additionally, she participates in panels at literary conventions like Multiverse Con and Jordon Con as well as Dragon Con.

Wibell lives in Lawrenceville, Georgia with her husband and her dog, Odin.
