Ann Dodys

Ann, a local resident of Madison, has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Master in Art Education. She is a Member of Excellence in the Southeastern Pastel Society and has received numerous awards through juried art shows. Also a plein air painter, Ann has participated for several years with Georgia Colors, a division of Olmstead, Atlanta. Working predominantly in soft pastels and oils in a representational style that leans towards impressionism, she is inspired by using light and the dramatic effect it can have on any subject. Ann has also shared her talents by teaching art at the Madison Artists Guild, Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF), The Madison Morgan Cultural Center (MMCC), The Monroe Artist Guild and the John C. Campbell Folk School (NC).
